At FDP, we’re committed to engineering products that are safer for the environment. In the manufacturing process we use water-based paints on our disc pads and biodegradable materials whenever possible, and we’ve installed pollution controlling afterburners at emission points of our manufacturing facility.

FDP believes in making the most of recycled products. That’s why we build our drum brakes from recycled steel and we reprocess all drum lining waste. Our engineers have also designed a system that reuses oil from our heavy equipment for our hot press operation. In fact, our latest innovation, EcoStop®, the first line of GREEN products in the industry, are manufactured with no copper, no antimony, no asbestos, and no lead. And you will find that all of our products contain recycled material with some products containing as much as 90% recycled raw materials.
